today was a pretty fulfilling day, compared to others. so yay (:

woke up really early to go for cip in yio chu kang :/ went to a student care centre for the mentally challenged. though there were only about 7kids. well it was a pretty refreshing and rewarding experience and the kids are plenty of fun! (:

finished at 11 so i went down to bugis to find the kettling friends and keep them company (ahem cause i am nice! hahaha) many trips to get bubbletea and the much loved corochan! haha and hearing them ring the bell from far away never fails to make me chuckle to myself (yes lorry i know what you are thinking!) hahahaa! and when we were just bumming around these people approached us and said they needed models for i do not know what but it's for the hair. told us we could dye, cut, curl or whatever we want for free. HAHA so why not?

well lorry curled her hair, fuzzy trimmed hers since it's already curled and pretty and i trimmed and dyed my hair. which was just a waste of time cause everyone said i wouldn't suit brown (cause i'm so annoying tan), and i sorta agree cause i know i'll look like an ahem ahlian. so i trusted the hairstylist in going for VIOLET which is not purple okay. but knowing i like brown he added a tiny bit of brown for a base and mahagony and the result is nothing. it doesn't look a tad bit different in any light! hur i'm guessing because he only allowed it to settle for half an hour :/ but oh well i don't lose anything except maybe an inch of my hair. but he styled my hair pretty nicely which probably just means i would never be able to duplicate it. hah

waited a little while more for them to finish their kettling duty and lorry and i went to look see around bugis and bugis street. haha and i got myself a manicure, it's red! hahaha

and on a really random note, i think i'm finally starting to lose the thrill of online shopping. firstly cause it takes ten thousand years to be shipped in from america and nothing beats going to a store, browsing and finding the perfect fit. online shopping just means sitting with your fingers crossed hoping that that piece of clothing fits your not so model like body as nicely as it did on a model. i think i'll stick to getting accessorize and safer choices like tees online from singaporean suppliers and sellers instead. but definitely not as much as last time (:
